Internet Fraud

The term "Internet fraud" refers generally to any type of fraud scheme that uses one or more components of the Internet - such as chat rooms, e-mail, message boards, or Web sites - to present fraudulent applications to future victims, to conduct fraudulent transactions.
In general, the same types of fraud schemes that have chased consumers and investors for many years before the creation of the Internet are now appearing online too.
I will tell you something about one most common kind of internet fraud. It is Business Opportunity "Work-at-Home" online.
Fraudsters often offer business opportunities that will allow individuals to earn thousands of dollars a month in "work-at-home" companies. They typically require the individuals to pay from $35 to several hundred dollars or more, but fail to deliver the materials or information that would be needed to make the work-at-home opportunity a potentially money-making business. And it is only one king of internet fraud!. There are much more ways to fraud on internet, so be careful!
How we should deal with internet fraud? First of all you have to be suspicious. No matter how impressive and professional website looks it does not mean it‘s true. Cheap software allows for everybody who has good skills create perfect internet website.
Secondly-be careful about giving out important personal data online. If unknown person writes you e-mail and asks for you social security number, credit card number or password, never write him back!
